The first time at the gym is the worst. You leave tired and sore, and you have to do it all over again the next day. However, train long enough and your body grows strong and fit for physical challenges. What the gym is to the body, prayer is to the soul. It’s hard and tiring at first, but do it consistently and a soul grows strong and fit for what life brings. This October, join us in the greater work of prayer.
Begin by clicking here and signing up for our 24 hours of prayer on October 12th and 13th. Pick a spot (or two if you are ambitious) and joining the community as we lift the burdens on our hearts to the Lord.
Next, to conclude the 24 hours of prayer, on Saturday October 13th at 6:15, there will be a Prayer and Praise night here at Bethany. We encourage all to join us as we share stories, pray and praise the God who loves us.
Finally, the documents to accompany this month are below for print or download: The Morning and Evening Prayers, A Guide of the different prayers mentioned, and an outline that could be used for the 24 Hours of Prayer.
