Mark 9:33-37 Justification is by the simplest definition: to be noticed. In this weeks passage, Jesus notices and pays attention to the least of the community during His time, and teaches us about doing the same. Scott brings the message this week.
Mark 9:14-29 While continuing our year long journey through the book of Mark, Pastor Scott begins a new series called “Peace, Joy, Justification.” Jesus encounters his disciples arguing with scribes about a boy who has an evil spirit. Jesus heals the boy, and teaches the disciples a lesson of power and where you can fund your source of peace.
Mark 5:1-20 After crossing the sea of Galilee, Jesus is approached by a demon possessed man. After a very brief moment, Jesus commands the demons to come out of the man and into a herd of pigs. Pastor Scott looks at this story, what it means in the 21st century and how we can take comfort in it.
3 John 1:2-4 One of the things that Christmas cards do is is they convey value. When you receive one, you feel valued to some degree by the person who sent it. In the book of 3rd John, the sender, John was conveying value to the recipient, Gaius with this letter, and Scott Ritterbush draws 3 things that we can take as encouragements from the passage this week.
